The Student Parliament of Slobomir P University (SPSPU) is a student representative body of Slobomir P University, whose main goals are to improve the quality of studies and the position of students in society, improve student standards, increase student information, establish communication and cooperation with student organizations, universities and colleges. and abroad, organizing humanitarian, cultural, sports and entertainment events for students, affirmation of students and their engagement in society.
SPSPU is currently in the process of integration into the Student Union of Republika Srpska (SURS). Connecting with the official student representative body will be of great importance for students of Slobomir P University, because it will move the barrier created between public and private faculties and universities, and thus students across RS and BiH.
In the near future, the Student Parliament plans to organize events such as promotions at major student and high school centers (Banja Luka, Sarajevo, Foca, Brcko, etc.) and the participation of representatives in seminars organized by youth organizations of RS and BiH. can be found on the parliament’s website.
Some of these events have already taken place, such as the RS Student Research Conference, organized by the Banja Luka University Student Parliament, and the RS Youth Youth Council, organized under the auspices of the RS Ministry of Sports and Youth, where our students also took part. . In order for a student to be able to participate in seminars and gatherings of this type, as a representative of the University, it is necessary to be a member of the Student Parliament.
Every student of Slobomir P University, upon enrollment in the first year of study, automatically becomes a member of the Student Parliament. The obligations of members of parliament are defined by the Rulebook on the obligations of members of the Student Parliament. Some of them are: participation in projects implemented by the parliament, participation in seminars and gatherings organized by our parliament, or some other student or youth organization or association, and providing new ideas, proposals and suggestions.
