Faculty of Philology is one of the six faculties within Slobomir P University, whose main activity is educational and scientific-research work and organizing academic studies of language, literature and culture.
There are the following study programmes within the Faculty of Philology:
First cycle studies-English studies-240 ECTS
-Teacher of English language and literature-240 ECTS
Second cycle studies-English studies-60 ECTS
-Master of English language and literature-Linguistic major-300 ECTS
– Master of English language and literature-Literature major-300 ECTS
English studies were founded in order to provide students with good knowledge of the English Language, Anglo-American culture and literature, as well as methodical and pedagogical science necessary for the teaching process. Students develop skills in the area of English studies, develop critical thinking, and get trained to work as excellent language teachers.
